Having worked at Greer Golf for over seven years, Sam Merrell knows his way around the course. He also grew up in the area, having attended Greer High School followed by the University of South Carolina Upstate, where he received his Bachelor's degree in Public Relations.

Golf has been a part of Sam’s life for many years, including the five years that he was a member of the golf team at USC Upstate. Sam is a familiar and friendly face that locals recognize when they come to the course and he has made his number one goal to grow golf in Greer! Outside of playing golf, Sam also enjoys South Carolina football.
