Hole by Hole

Hole #1

PAR 5 - HCP 15

🔵  516   ⚪ 466   🟡 443   🔴 411

The first of four par 5’s is the opening hole here at Greer Golf. Tree-lined fairways provide a narrow fairway for the short opening hole. Two bunkers guard the front of this rather flat first green. Birdie on the first is a good start.

Hole #2

PAR 4 - HCP 5

🔵 363   ⚪️ 347   🟡 326   🔴 320

Number 2 is a challenging par 4 with a fairway that slopes hard from right to left. Your approach shot will be over a pond that guards the front and left side of the green.

Hole #3

PAR 4 - HCP 1

🔵 343   ⚪️ 298   🟡269   🔴 262

Ranked as the hardest hole on the course, the third hole is an uphill par 4 that slightly doglegs to the right. Hazard guards the left side of this fairway. Your approach shot is uphill to a green that slopes from back to front.

Hole #4

PAR 3 - HCP 9

🔵 157   ⚪️ 150   🟡 144   🔴 137

The first of four par 3’s is number 4. A narrow but long green that slopes from right to left. A hill on the right side of the green helps send balls back onto the green. A hill on the left side of the green sends balls down and away from the green that makes for a difficult pitch shot.

Hole #5

PAR 4 - HCP 3

🔵 385   ⚪️ 359   🟡 337   🔴 320

The fifth hole is a slight dogleg from right to left. A blind approach shot to the green will require an accurate shot. A two-tiered green can make for a difficult two putt or up and down to come out of this hole with a par.

Hole #6

PAR 3 - HCP 11

🔵150   ⚪️ 125   🟡 117   🔴 108

The shortest of the par 3’s plays uphill coming back towards the clubhouse. Two deep bunkers guard the front left and right side of this green that slopes from back to front.

Hole #7

PAR 4 - HCP 13

🔵 326   ⚪️ 320   🟡 303   🔴 297

The 7th is a drivable par 4 with a fairway that slopes from right to left. A newly added bunker on the left side of the fairway protects balls from rolling left out of bounds. A good drive here should set up a great chance at making birdie.

Hole #8

PAR 4 - HCP 7

🔵 310  ⚪️285   🟡 278   🔴 260

The 8th is a risk reward hole. A hard dogleg left par 4 that you can play different ways. The conservative route is to hit it at the 150 yard marker. Cut the corner to make your approach shot shorter but don’t miss left. The green is protected by a big slope left of the green that will send your ball into a hazard.

Hole #9

PAR 5 - HCP 17

🔵 488   ⚪️ 474   🟡 436   🔴 353

The last hole on the front 9 is a par 5 where the tee shot plays slightly downhill while the approach shot plays back up this hill. With recent grading to the fairways on this hole it will help keep balls in the fairway. Out of bounds protects the left side of this hole. Two bunkers are placed on the front left and right sides of the green to make the approach shot play more difficult.

Hole #10

PAR 4 - HCP 6

🔵 404   ⚪️ 387   🟡 321   🔴 314

Starting our back 9 is no simple task. The longest of any par 4 on the course has a fairway that slopes right to left with out of bonds on the left side. The bunker on the left side of the 10th green makes the approach shot seem very narrow.

Hole #11

PAR 4 - HCP 10

🔵368   ⚪️ 339   🟡 324   🔴 318

A slight downhill dogleg left hole that has a creek cutting across the fairway. The green on the 11th is the widest on the course that slopes from left to right and back to front.

Hole #12

PAR 5 - HCP 8

🔵 579   ⚪️ 540   🟡 422   🔴 418

The longest par 5 on the course that is tipped out at 570 yards. The 12th is a three shot hole that requires a good tee shot with an out of bounds to the left and a creek running down the right side. Your layup shot is straightaway and the green is tucked behind a set of trees. A large hill protects the right side of the green that balls will funnel back down and onto the green.

Hole #13

PAR 3 - HCP 2

🔵 208   ⚪️ 188   🟡 169   🔴 160

After the longest par 5, you get the longest par 3 on the course. The longest green on the course stretching over forty yards long, this hole can play differently every time. Protected by two bunkers and a creek on the left side, par here is a good score.

Hole #14

PAR 4 - HCP 16

🔵 356   ⚪️ 290   🟡 260   🔴 217

The 14th hole is the signature hole at Greer Golf. The hard dog left right par 4 sets up for the perfect left to right ball flight. With Lake Apalache to the left this hole requires two precise shots to set yourself up with a good birdie look.

Hole #15

PAR 5 - HCP 18

🔵 462   ⚪️ 410   🟡 398   🔴 388

This par 5 requires a precise tee shot to set yourself up at going for the green in two. The slight dogleg right has a green that is protected with a huge slope right and 3 bunkers placed around the green.

Hole #16

PAR 4 - HCP 4

🔵 385   ⚪️ 356   🟡 295   🔴 288

The 16th hole is a slight dogleg left par 4 with a fairway that slopes off to the left and the right. With hazard running along the left and right side of this hole, an accurate tee shot is needed. A deep bunker protects the front of the 16th green.

Hole #17

PAR 3 - HCP 12

🔵 174   ⚪️ 165   🟡 157   🔴 148

The last of the four par 3’s is the 17th here at Greer Golf. A narrow tree-lined tee shot that requires precision. A slope on the left side of the green helps funnel balls to the green but a deep bunker on the right protects the right side of the green.

Hole #18

PAR 4 - HCP 14

🔵 376   ⚪️ 343   🟡 320   🔴 311

The closing hole at Greer golf is a short par 4 that comes back to the clubhouse. A slight dogleg from right to left with two fairway bunkers requires an accurate tee shot. Two bunkers protect the front of this green. We hope you make birdie and enjoy your day out here at Greer Golf.
